50
Cent announces there will be no G-Unit reunion. Instead he announces
the release of his new "Street King Immortal" album. The Game decides
to drop his new album on the same day!!!!
There are some new release dates for singles and albums that have recently been announced.
After
announcing that there will be no G-Unit reunion, 50 Cent has announced
the release of his new album "Street King Immortal" on September 16, and
I don't know if this is a marketing plan, beef, or coincidence but
former G-Unit member 'The Game' has decided to release his new album "Blood Money La Familia" on the very same day; as if there hasn't been enough fire between the two in the past.
The
former team-mates will not be the only two battling it out in
September, it seems as if there are quite a few battles of epic
proportions going on. On September 12, Nas's album which has still yet to be named will clash with Young Jeezy's new album "Seen It All: The Autobiography."
All in all September will be a pretty big month for hip hop. Meek Mill's album "Dreams Worth More Than Money" will be dropping on September 9. Gucci Mane's album "Trap God 3"
aims to rock the world on September 14. Even Lil Boosie drops his
return album in September taking the 23rd day of the month for a ride
down memory lane.
There
are some new independent releases this week as well. Underground
r&b artist Maine will be releasing his new single "Henney" on August
5 along with Texas rapper Black Diamond's "Nothing Personal," and new
comer J.G. will be releasing his new single "Crazy With The Flow" on
August 12. Underground rapper E-reign will also be taking his music to
another level droppin in the high risk month of October on the 14th day.
A
final point to be made, Wiz Khalifa's new album "Blacc Hollywood" has
been scheduled to release on August 19. Some may say that Wiz is shying
away from the heavy competition in the upcoming months. Was September
too heavy for Wiz with Nas, Jeezy, 50 Cent and more dropping? It is
likely the young artist knew that he has no chance to out sell the
veterans dropping in the months to come.
